Welcoming diversity and widening participation: testimonies from Joe, Jazz, Bea and the Mistress
As the first UK residential institution for women studying to degree level, Girton remains at the forefront of widening participation. Diversity and inclusion are more important than ever: today one in four of our 556 undergraduates receive a bursary to help with living costs, and the academic cost for every home and EU student is subsidised at 50%. This stretches College finances so we urgently need to fund a further 20 undergraduate bursaries. Each are means tested and provide a maximum award of £3,500.
Support Girton’s undergraduates and keep diversity thriving for the next 150 years.
